A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACT WITH EDD HELMS ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING,
INC. FOR THE USE OF HALL B - ROOMS B 214-218 IN
THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER JULY 7-11,
1989 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDD HELMS ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING, INC.
desires the right to set up electrical equipment in certain
premises and facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL B - ROOMS B 214-218 IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
JULY 7-11, 1989
for the event known as
1989 INTERNATIONAL TRADE WINNERS OF THE AMERICAS
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate electrical contract has been
prepared by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said electrical contract and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said electrical contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described electrical contract on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.

Attached is electrical contract in triplicate with
Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services, Inc. for
payment of $200 minimum fee or 15% of gross
receipts, for the right to set up electrical
agreement in Hall A in the Stephen Muss Convention
Center for the Florida International Seafood Expo.
If the form of this agreement meets with your
approval, will you kindly prepare resolution
authorizing its execution by the City and forward
to the City Manager for presentationb to the City
Commission.
I concur with the terms of this contract and
recommend its approval .
