A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MAIMI BEACH , FLORIDA ADOPTING MIAMI
BEACH MARINE AUTHORITY ' S RECOMMENDATION TO
APPROVE AN EXTENSION INTO THE WATERWAY AT
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1250 STILLWATER DRIVE .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA .
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami tach ,
Florida with a majority vote , approved the request to allow the
replacement of the floating portion of a dock previously approved
on July 2 , 1987 , Marine Authority File No : 01 1 -87 , with a fixed
structure and the installation of a boat lift ( 68 ft . ) and mooring
pile total extension 83 ft . , at the property located at 1 250
Sti B % water Drive , Miami Beach , Florida and ,
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach
belives that allowing the extension into the waterway would not be
detrimental to the surrounding areas ; and
WHEREAS , the Marine Authority of the City of Miami Beach
feels wholheartedly this extension into the waterway should also
be approved by the City Commission .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA THAT the City Commission adopt
the Miami Beach Marine Authority ' s recommendation and grant an extension
into the waterway of 83 ft . , at the property located at ' 250
STILLWATER DRIVE , MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 26th day of July , 1989 .

SUBJECT: AN ACTION BY THE MARINE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH APPROVING THE REPLACEMENT OF THE
FLOATING PORTION OF A DOCK AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1250 STILLWATER DRIVE
BACKGROUND
On July 13 , 1989 at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Marine Authority a majority vote of approval
was granted for the replacement of the floating
portion of the dock , which was previously approved
on July 2 , 1987 , File No ; 011 -87 with a permanent
dock and the installation of a boat lift ( 68 ft . )
and mooring piles with a total of 83 ft .
OBSERVATION
The Marine Authority feels that this extension into
the waterway would not be detrimental to the surrounding
area .
