A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A BOOTH
CLEANING CONTRACT WITH LANHAM CLEANING SERVICE,
INC. FOR THE USE OF HALL A IN THE STEPHEN MUSS
CONVENTION CENTER SEPTEMBER 21-25, 1989 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
LANHAM CLEANING SERVICE, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL A IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
SEPTEMBER 21-25, 1989
for the event known as
FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL RESTAURANT & HOTEL EXPO
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate Booth Cleaning contract has been
prepared by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said Booth Cleaning contract
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said Booth Cleaning contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described Booth Cleaning contract on behalf of the City, and that
the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of September , 19 89.

IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER, SEPTEMBER 21-

Attached is booth cleaning contract in triplicate with
Lanham' s Cleaning Service for 15% of the "gross receipts"
received by the booth cleaner for the Florida Restaurant &
Hotel Expo, September 21-25, 1989 .
If the form of this agreement meets with your approval , will
you kindly prepare resolution authorizing its execution by the
City and forward to the City Manager for presentation to the
City Commission.
I concur with the terms of this contract and recommend its
approval.
