A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING AN OPERATING BUDGET AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/90.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) define the
purposes and procedure to be utilized for the appropriation and
expenditure of the Police Confiscation Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that such needs exists and is in compliance with
Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) ; and
WHEREAS, such funds are available in the Police
Confiscation Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT the City Commission
hereby adopts a FY 1989/90 Police Confiscation Fund Budget for the
City of Miami Beach, to be as follows (Exhibit 1) :

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FY 1989/90
The Administration requests permission to adopt an operating budget
of the Police Confiscation Trust Account for FY 1989/90 to
appropriate $528, 143 . 00 to include salaries of the Police Legal
Advisorand Secretary, School Resource Officers, and Crime
Prevention Officers; fringe benefits and vests, undercover vehicle
repairs, and computer hardware/software maintenance agreements.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
operating budget for the Police Confiscation Trust Account and
appropriate funding.

hereby certify that the aforementioned proposed request
for expenditures from the City of Miami Beach Police
Confiscation Trust Fund, for the 1989/90 fiscal year to
provide funds for the salaries of the Police Legal Advisor
and Secretary, School Resource Officers, and Crime
Prevention Officers, including fringe benefits; vests,
undercover vehicle repairs, and computer hardware/software
maintenance agreements, complies with the provisions of
Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) , Florida Statutes.
