A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
88-19460, FOR THE POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1988/89 SO AS TO INCREASE THE
APPROPRIATAION THEREOF.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, hereby adopts the proposed amendment to
Resolution No. 88-19460, of the operating budget for the Police
Training Trust Fund, a true and correct listing of which is
included and incorporated herein by reference, and monies
therein be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows

SUBJECT: POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988/89
The Administration requests an amendment to Resolution No.
88-19460 to the operating budget of the Police Training Trust
Fund to appropriate an additional $40, 000. 00 to provide funds for
the education of police personnel at various schools, seminars,
conferences, and workshops, and for the purchase of training
operational supplies (i.e. , ammunition) in accordance with
guidelines established by the Division of Criminal Justice
Standards and Training. The revenue is accrued from funding as
provided by F.S.S. 943 . 25 (9) (a) . The additional appropriation
will increase the Police Training Trust Budget to a total of
$55, 000. 00 for the Fiscal Year 1988/89 .
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
operating budget for the Police Training Trust Fund and
appropriate funding.
