I, Ken Glassman, Chief of Police, City of Miami Beach, do hereby
certify that the aforementioned proposed request for
expenditures from the City of Miami Beach Police Training Trust
Fund, for the 1989/90 fiscal year to provide funds for the
education of police personnel at various schools, conferences,
and workshops, and for the purchase of training/operational
supplies (i. e. , ammunition) is in accordance with guidelines
established by the Division of Criminal Justice Standards and
Training, as provided by F.S.S . 943 . 25 (9) (a) .

SUBJECT: POLICE TRAINI G TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/90
The Administration requests permission to adopt an operating
budget of the Police Training Trust Fund for fiscal year 1989/90
to appropriate $40, 000. 00 to provide funds for the education of
police personnel at various schools, conferences, and workshops,
and for the purchase of training/operational supplies (i.e.
ammunition) in accordance with guidelines established by the
Division of Criminal Justice Standards and Training, as provided
by F.S.S. 943 . 25 (9) (a) .
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
operating budget for the Police Training Trust Fund and
appropriate funding.
