A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS
DRAWN ON FUNDS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH HURRICANE CONTINGENCY
FUND ACCOUNT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That on and after the 4th day of October, 1989, all withdrawals
of funds from the City of Miami Beach account described as
follows:
SOUTHEAST BANK, N.A.
Account "City of Miami Beach-Hurricane Contingency Fund
designated: Account"
shall be upon official you hers duly prepared and bearing the various

SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION FOR SIGNING CHECKS AND WITHDRAWAL FORMS DRAWN ON
FUNDS IN A NEWLY ESTABLISHED HURRICANE CONTINGENCY IMPREST
CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
Administration has identified a need for selected City
administrative personnel to access City funds in the event
of a hurricane emergency. The utilization of a new imprest
checking account limits access to the City's general funds
yet allows those individuals most responsible for administration
of hurricane emergency procedures to access necessary funds in
a hurricane emergency.
The Proposed Resolution establishes authorized signatures for
a newly created imprest checking account for hurricane
contingencies.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission approve
the attached Proposed Resolution for due and appropriate
notification to Southeast Bank., N.A. , the City's main depository.
