A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH BRADSHAW EVENTS AND WPBT-TV FOR THE
USE OF MEETING ROOMS A201-205 AND A208 IN THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER DECEMBER 9-11, 1989 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
BRADSHAW EVENTS AND WPBT-TV
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
MEETING ROOMS A201-205 AND A208 IN THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
DECEMBER 9-11, 1989
for the event known as
BRADSHAW IN MIAMI - FAMILY LECTURES
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

RECOMMENDATION: payment of $3,900. 00, based on $1 ,300. 00 per day, plus

upholstered seats, plus Florida State Rental Tax, which
is currently 6%.

with all City regulations.
