A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE ORIGINAL MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE
SHOW, INC. FOR THE USE OF HALLS A & B IN THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER JANUARY 29-FEBRUARY 7,
1991.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
THE ORIGINAL MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE SHOW, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS A & B IN THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
JANUARY 29-FEBRUARY 7, 1991
for the event known as
ANTIQUE SHOW
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

ORGANIZATION: THE ORIGINAL MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE SHOW, INC.
EVENT: ANTIQUE SHOW
DATES : JANUARY 29-FEBRUARY 7, 1991
AMOUNT: The lessee hereby covenants and agrees to pay the following
minimum rentals, or such higher rentals as shall become
effective on or before 120 days prior to the date lessee
takes occupancy under this lease; provided, however, that
lessee' s obligation with respect to such higher rentals
shall be limited to an increase of 12% over the following
minimum rentals.
60 per square foot per hall of net exhibit space used
with a minimum guarantee of $30,000.00 per hall based on
$5,000.00 per hall per day, plus Florida State Rental Tax,
which is currently 6%.
RATE: COMMISSION APPROVED
ADDITIONAL Box Office Charge, if used, $100 per day which includes one
CHARGES : person for supervisory purposes only.
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, Inc.
RECOMMENDATION: for payment of 60 per square foot per hall of net exhibit space
used with a minimum guarantee of $30,000.00 per hall based on
$5,000.00 per hall per day, plus Florida State Rental Tax,
which is currently 6%.

to the City Commission. Also, please certify to the City
Manager that all documents included herein are in accordance
with all City regulations.
I concur with the terms of this lease and recommend its
approval .
