SUBJECT : Hardwood Floor Refinishing at N
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department will be temporarily closing certain areas in North Shore Youth Center to perform
improvements.
The project shal l consist of sanding and refinishing all the hardwood floors in the facility, which
will be completed in phases , as noted below:
• Gymnasium will be closed from August 19th through September 5th
• 2nd floor dance studio will be closed from September 6 th through September 13th
• Stage on the first floor will be closed from September 14th through September 20th
All flooring projects at the youth center are expected to be completed by Friday, September 20,
2019.
