A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXTENDING ITS
CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. PAUL BELL ON HIS
APPOINTMENT AS SUPERINTENDENT OF THE DADE
COUNTY SCHOOLS.
WHEREAS, on March 7, 1990, the Dade County School Board
appointed Mr. Paul Bell as the new Superintendent of the Dade
County schools; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is aware of the challenges that
face Mr. Bell in this growing multi-ethnic community and wishes him
to know that the City of Miami Beach is in full support of his
efforts for excellence in education.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Commission hereby
extends its congratulations to Mr. Paul Bell on his appointment as
Superintendent for Dade County schools and extends to him the
City' s expression of support in his upcoming challenges and efforts
for excellence in education in this growing multi-ethnic community.
