A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 89-19731,
FOR THE POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR
1989/90 SO AS TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, hereby adopts the proposed amendment to
Resolution No. 89-19731, of the operating budget for the Police
Training Trust Fund, a true and correct listing of which is
included and incorporated herein by reference, and monies therein
be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows (Exhibit 1) :

I, Lou Guasto, Acting Chief of Police, City of Miami Beach, do
hereby certify that the aforemenitoned proposed request for
expenditures from the City of Miami Beach Police Training Trust
Fund, for the 1989/90 fiscal year to provide funds for the
education of police personnel at various schools, conferences, and
workshops, and for the purchase of training/operational supplies
(i.e. , ammunition) is in accordance with guidelines established by
the Division of Criminal Justice Standards and Training, as
provided by F.S.S. 943 .25 (9) (a) .

SUBJECT: POLICE TRAINING TRUST FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989/90
The Administration requests an amendment to Resolution No.
89-19731 to the operating budget of the Police Training Trust Fund
to appropriate an additional $20, 000. 00 to provide funds for the
education of police personnel at various schools, seminars,
conferences, and workshops, and for the purchase of training
operational supplies (i.e. , ammunition) in accordance with
guidelines established by the Division of Criminal Justice
Standards and Training. The revenue is accrued from funding as
provided by F.S.S. 943 . 25 (9) (a) . The additional appropriation
will increase the Police Training Trust Budget to a total of
$75, 000. 00 for the Fiscal Year 1989/90.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
operating budget for the Police Training Trust Fund and
appropriate funding.
