RESOLUTION 90-20016 RESOLUTION NO. 90-20016
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENCOURAGING AND
SUPPORTING LESSEES AND USERS OF THE JACKIE
GLEASON THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND THE
COLONY THEATER TO USE LOCAL ACTORS AND
PERFORMERS WHENEVER POSSIBLE.
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City of Miami
Beach and Dade County in general to have local actors and
performers used whenever possible for performances at the Jackie
Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts and the Colony Theater; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach City Commission wishes to
express its support and encouragement of the use of local actors
and performers whenever possible at the Jackie Gleason Theater of
the Performing Arts and the Colony Theater.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that lessees and users of the
Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts and the Colony
Theater are hereby encouraged to utilize local actors and
performers whenever possible.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1990.
