A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE, CLASSIC &
SPORT CAR SHOW AND AUCTION, INC. FOR THE USE OF
HALLS C AND D OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
AUGUST 3 - AUGUST 6, 1990.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE, CLASSIC & SPORT CAR SHOW AND AUCTION, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS C AND D OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
AUGUST 3 - AUGUST 6, 1990
for the event known as
THE MIAMI BEACH INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE,
CLASSIC AND SPORT CAR SHOW AND AUCTION
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease amendment has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease amendment and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease amendment on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

NEW DATES: August 3, 1990 — Move In
August 4-5, 1990 — Show
August 6, 1990 — Move Out
PURPOSE: CHANGE OF SHOW DATES
AMOUNT: THE LESSEE HEREBY COVENANTS AND AGREES TO PAY THE
FOLLOWING MINIMUM RENTALS, OR SUCH HIGHER RENTALS
AS SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON OR
BEFORE 120 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE LESSEE TAKES
OCCUPANCY UNDER THIS LEASE; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT
LESSEE 'S OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO SUCH HIGHER
RENTALS SHALL BE LIMITED TO AN INCREASE OF TWELVE
PER CENT ( 12%) OVER THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM RENTALS.
TWENTY THOUSAND AND no/100 ($20,000.00) DOLLARS,
BASED ON FIVE THOUSAND AND no/100 ($5,000.00)
DOLLARS PER SHOW DAY PER HALL PLUS ( 107.) PER CENT
OF THE GROSS RECEIPTS FROM SALE OF ADMISSION
TICKETS, AND ONE AND no/100 ($1 .00) DOLLAR PER
CHAIR FOR SEATING SETUP AND ONE AND no/100 ($1 .00)
DOLLAR PER TABLE USED, PLUS FLORIDA STATE RENTAL
TAX , WHICH IS CURRENTLY 67..
