A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING
FOR THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE POLICE
SPECIAL REVENUE - CAPITAL ACCOUNT FOR FY
1989/90 FOR FY 1989/90 MAKING PROVISION FOR
THE PURCHASE OF SEMI-AUTOMATIC WEAPONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in the process of
replacing the standard service revolver with a semi-automatic
pistol ; and
WHEREAS, such funds are available from the proceeds of
the sale of these standard service resolvers of Police Officers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT the City
Commission of the City of Miami Beach hereby amends the FY
1989/90 Police Special Revenue - Capital Account, said amendment
to result in the amended account as reflected herein below.

SUBJECT: POLICE SPECIAL 90 REVENUE - CAPITAL ACCOUNT FOR FY 1989

The Administration requests an amendment to Resolution 90-19931
for the Police Special Revenue - Capital Account to appropriate
an additional $24 , 550. to be used to provide funds for the
purchase of 46 Sig Sauer P226 Combat Pistols. The additional
appropriation will increase the Police Special Revenue -- Capital
Account to $45, 274 . for the Fiscal Year 1989/90.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
attached resolution which provides for the first amendment to the
FY 1989/90 Police Special Revenue - Capital Account.
