A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH HISPANIC POLICE OFFICERS
ASSOCIATION FOR THE USE OF HALL D OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER OCTOBER 27, 1990 -6: 00 PM
TO OCTOBER 28, 1990 - 1: 00 AM.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
HISPANIC POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL D OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
OCTOBER 27 , 1990 - 6: 00 PM TO OCTOBER 28 , 1990 - 1: 00 AM.
for the event known as
HISPANIC POLICE OFFICERS CULTURAL EVENT
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

Five Hundred and no/100 ( $500.00) Dollars for 250
tables and Two Thousand and no/ 100 ( $2,000.00)
Dollars for 2,000 chairs, plus Florida State Rental
Tax , which is currently 6%.
