A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ADOPTING AN OPERATING BUDGET AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE POLICE
CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1990/91 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$330, 555. 00, TO BE FUNDED BY THE
PROCEEDS OF CONFISCATED FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) , Florida Statutes,
addresses the purposes and procedures to be utilized for the
appropriation and expenditures of the Police Confiscation Fund;
and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that the needs for expenditures and appropriation
exist and the expenditure or appropriation of forfeiture funds is
in compliance with Section 932 .704 (3) (a) ; and
WHEREAS, such funds are available in the Police
Confiscation Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT the City
Commission hereby adopts a FY 1990/91 Police Confiscation Fund
Budget for the City of Miami Beach, in the amount of
$330, 555. 00 (as reflected in Exhibit 1) .

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FY 1990/91
The Administration requests permission to adopt an operating
budget of the Police Confiscation Trust Account for FY 1990/91 to
appropriate $330, 555. 00 to be used to provide funds for the
salaries of the Police Legal Advisors and Secretary, Confiscation
Sergeant, and fringe benefits; and undercover vehicle repairs.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt
the operating budget for the Police Confiscation Trust Account
and appropriate funding.
