A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER
TO INCREASE THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT BETWEEN KUNDE, SPRECHER, YASKIN &
ASSOCIATES, INC. , CONSULTANTS FOR THE OCEAN
DRIVE PROJECT, AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach and Kunde, Sprecher, Yaskin
& Associates, Inc. , the Consultants on the Ocean Drive Project have
entered into an agreement for Engineering services for the Ocean
Drive Project; and
WHEREAS, at the request of the Ocean Drive Property Owners,
additional services were performed by Kunde, Sprecher, Yaskin &
Associates, Inc. in the amount of $11, 067 . 16 ; and
WHEREAS, these additional costs will be paid from the property
owners share of the Special Assessment of the Ocean Drive Bond fund
360.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, hereby approves a Change Order
increase of $11, 067 . 16 to the Professional Services Agreement for
Kunde, Sprecher, Yaskin & Associates, Inc. for a total Contract
amount of $273 , 567 . 16.

Increase in Contract Amount $11,067 . 16
Extension of time: None
Source of Funding: $3 Million Ocean Drive Bond Fund 360
The Professional Services Agreement for design, preparation of
construction documents, construction administration and field
representative services between the City and the Consultants,
Kunde, Sprecher, Yaskin & Associates, Inc. is in the amount of
$262 , 500.
Change Order Number 2 consists of the following items:
1 . Redesign of the lighting system
2 . Design of electrical services to tree grates for the Ocean
Drive Project.
TOTAL FEE (LUMP SUM) $11,067 . 16
These additional services were performed at the request of the
Ocean Drive Property Owners. The costs to be paid from the
property owners share of the Special Assessment.
The City Attorney has reviewed Change Order Number 2 and finds it
is in accordance with the contract documents.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends that Change Order Number 2 be
approved thereby increasing the contract with Kunde, Sprecher,
Yaskin & Associates, Inc. to $273 , 567 . 16. Funds in the amount of
$11, 067 . 16 to be appropriated from the $3 Million Ocean Drive Bond
Fund 360 to Work Order 2991.
