A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION FOR
THE USE OF HALL D OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER AUGUST 31-SEPTEMBER 4, 1990.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL D OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
AUGUST 31-SEPTEMBER 4, 1990
for the event known as
JERRY LEWIS LABOR DAY BENEFIT CAR SHOW
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

Muscular Dystrophy Association for the Jerry Lewis
Labor Day Benefit Car Show in the Miami Beach
Convention Center , August 31 , 1990-September 4 , 1990.
If the form of this agreement meets with your approval ,
will you kindly prepare resolution authorizing its
execution by the City and forward to the City Manager
for presentation to the City Commission.
I concur with the terms of this contract and recommend
its approval .
