Morales, City Manager DATE: August 23, 2019 SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee relative to R quest for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2019-209-ND, for Resiliency Code Consultant Services The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2019-209-ND, which seeks to contract with a consultant who would be tasked with performing analysis and drafting of a resiliency code, as well as facilitating appropriate community outreach. On June 19, 2019, LTC# 354-2019 notified the City Commission that the City Manager had appointed an evaluation committee to review proposals received pursuant to the RFQ. However, the following changes have been made to the evaluation committee members due to scheduling conflicts. Accordingly, I am now considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee: • Michael Belush, Chief of Planning and Zoning, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach • Hernan Cardeno, Director, Code Compliance Department, City of Miami Beach • Rogelio Madan, Chief of Community Planning and Sustainability, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach • Lynda Westin, Transportation Manager, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach • Elizabeth Wheaton, Director, Environment and Sustainability Department, City of Miami Beach I am also considering the following individual as an alternate: • Jose Gonzalez, Director, Transportation Department, City of Miami Beach I would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions you may have by Friday, August 30, 2019. Thank you. JLM/ST/TM/• a/K: F:\PURC\Solicitations\2019\2019-209-ND_RFQ_Resiliency Consultant Services\14-LTCs\LTC-RFQ 2019-209-ND.docx
