A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH JEWELERS INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE,
INC. FOR THE USE OF HALL C OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER OCTOBER 8-13 , 1992 .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
JEWELERS INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL C OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
OCTOBER 8-13 , 1992 .
for the event known as
FINE JEWELRY, FASHION JEWELRY AND
RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES (TRADE ONLY)
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

FOLLOWING MINIMUM RENTALS, OR SUCH HIGHER RENTALS
AS SHALL BE APROVED BY THE CTIY COMMISSION ON OR
BEFORE 120 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE LESSEE TAKES
OCCUPANCY UNDER THIS LEASE ; PROVIDED , HOWEVER , THAT
. LESSEE ' S OBLIGATION WITH RESPECT TO SUCH HIGHER
RENTALS SHALL BE LIMITED TO AN INCREASE OF TWELVE
PER CENT ( 12%) OVER THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM RENTALS .
