A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH INTERNATIONAL ARTIST SERIES, INC. FOR THE USE OF THE
JACKIE GLEASON THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS DECEMBER 8,
1990 - 6: 00 P.M. -MIDNIGHT AND DECEMBER 9, 1990 - NOON -
7 . 00 P.M.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
INTERNATIONAL ARTIST SERIES, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
JACKIE GLEASON THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
on
DECEMBER 8, 1990 -6. 00 P.M. -MIDNIGHT
AND
DECEMBER 9, 1990 - NOON-7 . 00 P.M.
for the event known as
THE NUTCRACKER BALLET
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.

AND NO/100 ($2,000.00) DOLLARS PER PERFORMANCE, PLUS FLORIDA STATE
RENTAL TAX, WHICH IS CURRENTLY 6%.
SURCHARGE: ONE AND NO/100 ($1 .00) DOLLAR PAYABLE FOR EACH TICKET SOLD PER
PERFORMANCE FIVE (5) DAYS AFTER EACH PERFORMANCE.
