A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO
UTILIZE RECYCLED MATERIALS IN CITY PURCHASES OF
SUPPLIES, PRODUCTS AND OTHER MATERIALS WHENEVER
FEASIBLE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission believes it to be in the best
interest of the citizens of the City of Miami Beach and in the best
interest of protecting the environment and preserving the nation' s
limited natural resources to utilize recycled materials whenever
feasible; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires the City Administration
to utilize such recycled materials when the City purchases
supplies, products and other materials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that for the purpose of protecting
the environment and preserving the limited natural resources
available in the United States, the City Commission hereby directs
the City Administration to use recycled materials for City
purchases of supplies, products and other materials, whenever
feasible.
