A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR THE 7TH AMENDMENT
TO THE CONFISCATION FUND BUDGET, TO PROVIDE FOR
THE PURCHASE OF TWO KAWASAKI BAYOU 4X4 ATV'S TO
BE USED BY THE BEACH PATROL UNIT, AT A COST OF
$7, 500. 00, FUNDED BY THE PROCEEDS OF CONFISCATED
FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) , Florida Statutes,
addresses the purposes and procedures to be utilized for the
appropriation and expenditures of the Police Confiscation Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that the needs for expenditures and appropriation
exist and the expenditure or appropriation of forfeiture funds is in
compliance with Section 932 . 704 (3) (a) ; and
WHEREAS, such funds are available in the Police
Confiscation Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT the City Commission hereby
amends the FY 1990/91 Police Confiscation Fund Budget for the City
of Miami Beach by an amount of $7, 500. 00 (as reflected in Exhibit
1) , said amendment to result in the amended budget as reflected
hereinbelow.

certify that the aforementionedproposed request for expenditures
from the City of Miami Beach Police Confiscation Trust Fund, for the
1990/91 fiscal year to provide funds for the purchase of two
Kawasaki Bayou 4x4 ATVs, to be used by the Beach Patrol Unit,

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FY 1990/91
The Administration requests an amendment to Resolution 90-20073 for
the operating budget of the Police Confiscation Trust Account to
appropriate an additional $7, 500. 00 to be used to provide funds for
the purchase of two Kawasaki Bayou 4x4 ATVs, to be used by the Beach
Patrol Unit. The additional appropriation will increase the Police
Confiscation budget to $568 , 855. 00 for the Fiscal Year 1990/91.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
operating budget for the Police Confiscation Trust Account and
appropriate funding.
