A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED
EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND
PAULA ANN WHITEBROOK FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES
AS A PHYSICAL FITNESS COORDINATOR FOR THE
CITY'S POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR THE PERIOD JULY
15, 1991 TO JULY 14, 1992 AT A COST OF
$2 ,083.33 PER MONTH.
WHEREAS, the City wishes to retain the services of a physical
fitness coordinator for the City' s Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Paula Ann Whitebrook has been selected as the best
applicant for the position; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended execution of the
Agreement attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the employment Agreement, attached hereto between
the City of Miami Beach and Paula Ann Whitebrook for provision of
services as a physical fitness coordinating for the City' s Police
Department for the period July 15, 1991 to July 14 , 1992 at a cost of
$2 , 083 . 33 per month.

SUBJECT: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR PAULA WHITEBROOK
The Administration requests approval of an administrative services
agreement with Paula Whitebrook to be employed as a Physical
Fitness Coordinator within the Miami Beach Police Department.
Funding for her services have been provided from the Department' s
Confiscation Funds. Ms. Whitebrook is required to work a minimum
of forty (40) hours per week unless otherwise approved by the Chief
of Police.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Clerk execute
the attached administrative services agreement with Paula
Whitebrook.

Payment will be in the amount of $2 , 083 . 33 per month. This emolument
will be based on a minimum forty (40) hour work week. In the event that
Paula Ann Whitebrook does not work a forty (4 0) hour weekly increment within
a one month period, $12 . 02 per hour will be deducted from the $2 , 083 . 33
monthly allocation. Payment will be made on the first business day of each
month for the previous month.
It is agreed that Paula Ann Whitebrook will be able to participate in
other personal services agreements with any agency or individual which does
not create any inferred conflict of interest with the City of Miami beach.
It is further agreed that this Agreement may be altered, extended and
amended only upon the written consent of both parties hereto. However, this
agreement may be canceled by either party with thirty (30) days written
notice.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these presents to be
executed by the respective officials thereunto duly authorized, this date and
year first above written.
