SUBJECT: GT ECO LLC/WATERLESS CAINVASH PILOT PROGRAM - UPDATE
This Letter to Commission (LTC) serves to provide an update regarding the GT ECO
Waterless Carwash pilot program at municipal garages.
The pilot program was the first phase of the procurement and initial concession agreement
between the City and GT ECO Car Wash. The pilot was scheduled for a period not to
exceed six (6) months. At the end of the pilot program, if deemed successful and approved
by the Finance Citywide Project Committee and subsequently by the City Commission, the
agreement could be extended to a second phase for a longer period with expanded service
to additional garages.
As you may recall, GT ECO commenced the pilot program on February 7, 2019, at the 17th
Street Garage.Additionally, service was expanded to the City Hall Garage(CHG)on Fridays
during the pilot.
On September 12, 2019, GT ECO, notified the City that it has elected not to continue with
the full implementation of the Agreement, pursuant to Request for Proposals No. 2018-157-
WG for Waterless Car Wash Wash Services.
GT ECO Waterless Car Wash services at municipal parking garages ended on Friday,
Sepetmeber 13, 2019.
