Event: Hispanic Heritage Festival
Date: October 4, 2019
Time: 6:00 p.m. —9:00 p.m.
Location: North Shore Park (501 72 Street, Field 1)
Join us for a celebration of Hispanic culture with music, dance, rides and more. Free admission,
carnival rides and refreshments for sale. Tickets available for purchase at Flamingo Park (PAL),
Muss Park, Scott Rakow Youth Center and North Shore Park Youth Center starting September
30, 2019.
Event: Movie in the Park
Date: October 11th, 2019
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: South Pointe Park (1 Washington Avenue)
Enjoy a family movie night at South Pointe Park. Free admission and refreshments for sale. Call

Event: 2019 Young Senior (35-40-45) International Tennis Federation World Tennis
Team and Individual Championships Opening Ceremony
Date: October 19, 2019
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: North Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Ave)
The Opening Ceremony for the 2019 Young Senior (35-40-45) International Tennis Federation
World Tennis Team and Individual Championships will take place in the beach area east of the
North Beach Bandshell with over 500 players attending. Each of the 32 countries will join in a
parade accompanied by a Miami Beach youth ambassador. Guests will marvel as two
parachute jumpers descend from the skies to deliver the official tournament coins. Guests will
be treated to a special performance by Mango's Tropical Cafe South Beach followed by
cocktails and light bites inside the Unidad Center.

The City of Miami Beach will host the 2019 Young Senior(35-40-45) International Tennis
Federation World Tennis Team and Individual Championships from October 20th - November
2nd, 2019. Over the 2 weeks, the tournament will feature 1,000 players from 32 countries
including South Africa, India, Argentina, Estonia and Portugal.
Event: Halloween Happenings
Date: October 31, 2019
Time: 6:30 p.m. —9:30 p.m.
Location: Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
Carnival games, treats, tot street, ice skating and rides. Expanded Haunted House designed for
older children and adults. Entrance for adults and children 3+ $5 (cash). Concessions for sale.
For the safety of all participants, only children 10 and under are permitted to wear masks.
