In keeping with the City's planning for major events and holiday weekends, the Administration has been closely monitoring the activities planned for Labor Day Weekend. The City will host the annual Home Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Additionally, the Ultra Beach Fest will also hold its event at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Sunday, August 31. There are no special public events permitted in the City for this holiday weekend. However, a facility rental of the 73rd Street Bandshell for a Latin Grammys Event has been authorized for Saturday, August 30, 2003. Attached please find a community notice that has been distributed containing information on events at Public Venues, notice of enhanced staffing plans and hotline and web access information if further question are required.
