RESOLUTION NO. 92-20485
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ABOLISHING THE
MAYOR'S AD HOC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ENERGY BOARD BY
REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 82-17068, 83-17573,
84-17960 AND 85-18320 PERTAINING TO SAID
BOARDS.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82-17068 adopted on July 21, 1982
established the City of Miami Beach Energy Board, and whereas said
Resolution was amended on December 19 , 1984 by Resolution No. 84-
17960; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 83-17573 adopted on December 7, 1983
established the Mayor' s Ad Hoc Economic Development Council, and
Resolution 85-18320 adopted on December 18, 1985 increased the
membership on said Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach Energy Board and the Mayor' s
Ad Hoc Economic Development Council have not met regularly and the
City Commission believes that they no longer serve a purpose useful
to the welfare of the citizens of the City of Miami Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: that the Mayor' s Ad Hoc Economic
Development Council and the City of Miami Beach Energy Board are
hereby abolished and that Resolution Nos. 82-17068, 83-17573 , 84-
17960 and 85-18320 are hereby repealed.
