A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF THE PERSONNEL
BOARD ELECTION, GROUP TWO EMPLOYEES, HELD ON
JUNE 22, 1992
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, a Certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors who conducted the
Election held on June 22, 1992, for the purpose of electing a member of the
Personnel Board to represent Group Two of the City employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has examined said Certificate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, that it hereby adopts the said Certificate as the result of said Election,
and does hereby declare the member from Group Two elected to the Personnel Board,
as follows:
GROUP TWO: JAMES "JIM" BURKHART (Elected by 22 votes out of 84 votes taken) .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8,v day of Ju , 1992.

STATE OF FLORIDA
COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify, that we held
and conducted an election of the members of Group Two employees of the City of
Miami Beach, at City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, City Hall Main Lobby,
First Floor, on June 22, 1992, for the purpose of electing a member of the
Personnel Board to represent Group Two ; that at the close of the polls, we
proceeded to open the ballot box and count the ballots, and found the results of
said Election to be as follows:
THAT there were a total of 84 votes cast.
THAT:
22 votes were cast for James "Jim" Burkhart
14 votes were cast for Brinsfield "Buck" Jones
12 votes were cast for Robert Martinez
10 votes were cast for Paul Raymond
10 votes were cast for Susan Smith
1 vote was cast for Pola Solomich
15 votes were cast for Brian Young
0 vote was cast for (For Write-In Candidate)
0 void ballot
