Special Taxing District Election, Normandy Security Guard
An election was held by the Miami-Dade County Elections on September 16, 2003,
pursuant to City of Miami Beach Resolution 2003-25222, approving and authorizing the
creation of a Special Taxing District by Miami-Dade County for Normandie Sud, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the purpose of providing twenty-four hour stationary security guard
service, subject to compliance with applicable City of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County
requirements.
Attached is a copy of the Certification of County Canvassing Board for the Special Taxing
District Elections.

We, the undersigned, County Court Judge SHELLEY 1. KRAVITZ, ChairpenoD, Key
Biscayne City Clerk CONCHITA H. ALVAREZ, Substitute Member for Board of County
Commissioners, and Supervisor of Elections CONSTANCE A. KAPLAN, Member, constituting
the Miami-Dade County Canvassiag Board and existing and conducting official duties
pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.07, Miami-Dade County Home Rule Charter, Chapter 18,
Miami-Dade County Code, and the foregoing Miami-Dade County Ordinances approved by the
Board of County Commissioners, do hereby certifY that we met in the office of the Supervisor of
ElectioDS of Miami-Dade County, Florida, on the 16lh day of September, 2003, and proceeded to
publicly canvass the votes cast in the special taxing district elections held on the 16lh day of
September, 2003. It appeared to our satisfaction that the elections were conducted among those
qualified electors residing in the proposed special taxing districts pursuant to the provisions of
Section 18-3(f) of the Miami-Dade County Code and the Miami-Dade County Resolutions
calling for these special taxing district elections.
We do hereby certifY solely, exclusively and entirely from the ballots completed and
returned to the Supervisor of Elections of Miami-Dade County, Florida, on the issue of the
special taxing district referenced in Resolution R-823-03, adopted on the 22nd day of July, 2003,
that the results of the election are as follows:
