A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS
DRAWN ON FUNDS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH DEPOSITORIES
(RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 92-20474)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That on and after the 22nd day of July 1992, all withdrawals
of funds from the City of Miami Beach accounts in City
Depositories described as follows:

Miami Beach General Depository Account", "City of Miami Beach Payroll Disbursing

bearing two signatures as above set forth, or bearing the signatures consisting
of the background and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are
imprinted on the sample checks attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the Barnett
Bank of South Florida, N.A. , designated "City of Miami Beach - Meter Account",
"City of Miami Beach Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund", withdrawals from which
shall be on printed checks each bearing two signatures as above set forth, or
bearing the signature consisting of the background and other identifying symbols
and facsimile signatures, as are imprinted on the sample check attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said
signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the
Intercontinental Bank, designated City of Miami Beach Social Service General
Assistance Account", "Risk Management Service Inc. Workmen's Comp. Claims for
City of Miami Beach", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed checks
designated each bearing two signatures as above set forth or bearing the
signatures consisting of the background on the sample check attached hereto and
made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said
signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the
Jefferson National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "City of Miami Beach Resort
Tax Fund Account" and "City of Miami Beach Legal Imprest Account", withdrawals of
funds from which shall be on printed checks, each bearing two signatures as above
set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of the background and other
identifying symbols and facsimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with the further provision as to the accounts carried in the NCNB
National Bank of Florida, designated "City of Miami Beach Community Development
Program Fund", "City of Miami Beach Rental Rehabilitation Program", "City of
Miami Beach Convention Center Trust Account", and "City of Miami Beach Recreation
Division Imprest Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed
checks designated each bearing two signatures as above set forth; or bearing the
signature consisting of the background and other identifying symbols and
facsimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and
made a part thereof; and the Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said
signatures in connection with said accounts.
And with further provision as to the accounts carried in The Citizens
and Southern National Bank of Florida designated "Retirement Systems for General

Miami Beach - Trust Account", Retirement System for Unclassified Employees and
Elected Officials of the City of Miami Beach - Trust Account", "City Pension Fund
for Firemen and Policement in the City of Miami Beach - Trust Account", "City
Supplemental Pension fund for Firemen and Policemen in the City of Miami Beach-
Trust Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be on printed checks each
bearing two signatures as above set forth; or bearing the signatures consisting
of the background and other identifying symbols and facimile signatures as are
imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part thereof; and the
Finance Director is hereby authorized to use said signatures in connection with
said accounts.
And with further provision as to the accounts carried in City National
Bank designated "City of Miami Beach - HOME Investment Partnership, withdrawals
of funds from which shall be on printed checks each bearing two signatures as
above set forth; or bearing the signatures consisting of the background and other
identifying symbols and facimile signatures as are imprinted on the sample check
attached hereto and made a part thereof; and the Finance Director is hereby
authorized to use said signatures in connection with said accounts.
SECTION 2: That said SOUTHEAST BANK, N.A. , INTERCONTINENTAL BANK, SUN BANK/
MIAMI, N.A. , JEFFERSON NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, BARNETT BANK OF SOUTH
FLORIDA, N.A. , NCNB NATIONAL BANK OF FLORIDA, THE CITIZENS AND SOUTHERN NATIONAL
BANK OF FLORIDA, C & S - SOVRAN TRUST COMPANY and CITY NATIONAL BANK are hereby
authorized and requested to accept, honor and pay without further inquiry, and
until delivery to it of written notice of the revocation of the authority hereby
granted, all checks and other orders for the payment or withdrawal of money
deposited with said banks in the name of said City of Miami Beach, including
checks drawn to the individual order of the officers signing same and including
also all such instruments payable or endorsed to the order of the City of Miami
Beach, when such checks or other orders for money shall be signed or endorsed in
the name of the City of Miami Beach by its officers hereinbefore named.
SECTION 3: That Resolution No. 92-20474 adopted on the 1st day of October
1991, be and the same is hereby rescinded and that al other resolutions or parts
of resolution in conflict herewith be and the same a - hereby repealed.

SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS DRAWN ON FUNDS IN THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH DEPOSITORIES
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends that the City Commission approve the
authorization for the signing of vouchers drawn on funds in the
City of Miami Beach Depositories and adding City National Bank as
an authorized depository.
BACKGROUND:
The attached resolution is periodically updated, as required, due
to change in authorized signers or addition/deletion of City
depositories. The current resolution adds two City bank accounts.
The first ct
additi: : , "Sun Bank/Miami, National Association
Custodial Agent for the City of Miami Beach," has been utilized
for many years but was omitted in error from previous resolutions.
The second addition, "City of Miami Beach - HOME Investment
Partnership" is a new account required to service a new City
entitlement program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
ANALYSIS:
Selection of a depository for the new HUD Program should be based
on location of said depository in the area most likely to benefit
from in the new program.
CONCLUSION:
After reviewing a list of qualified depositories in the City of
Miami Beach it was decided that City National Bank at 71st Street
best meets the location criteria.
