DATE: October 8, 1992
Attached please find a Resolution for the October 8, 1992 City Commission Agenda
establishing the Mayor's Council on Cultural Affairs. While this ad-hoc committee could be
created by my office without any formalities, I believe it is important for the entire commission
to have input into the process and for the Rules and Special Events Committee to review it's
mission statement in order to avoid any overlap with some other City committees, most notably
the Arts in Public Places Committee, the Community Benefit Committee for the Performing
Arts, and the Fine Arts Board.
Please ensure that this item is placed on the Commission Agenda.
