RESOLUTION NO. 92-20645
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPOINTING CITY COMMISSIONER SUSAN
F. GOTTLIEB AS THE CITY' S
REPRESENTATIVE ON THE METROPOLITAN
PLANNING ORGANIZATION.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the
Miami Urbanized Area has the responsibility of developing in
cooperation with the State of Florida a comprehensive plan for the
utilization of federal transportation funding in the Miami
Urbanized Area; and
WHEREAS, on September 2 , 1992 the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach approved an Interlocal Agreement with the
Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) which provided that the
MPO would be reconstituted to include a representative from the
City Commission of the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to appoint one of its
members to act as the City' s representative on the MPO in
accordance with the proposed Interlocal Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida that the City Commission hereby
appoints Commissioner Susan F. Gottlieb as the City' s
representative on the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
