A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 82-17003 WHICH CREATED AND
AUTHORIZED THE MAINTENANCE OF AN IMPREST
CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
WITH INTERCONTINENTAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH
BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT TO $50, 000. 00
AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR FROM THE
POLICE CONFISCATIONS TRUST FUND.
WHEREAS, the cost for confidential informants and the number
of special investigations has increased, and
WHEREAS, in order to more effectively handle these increases,
the appropriated amount for this imprest checking account must be
increased to $50, 000. 00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission hereby
approves the increase of funds to $50, 000. 00 in the imprest
checking account created by Resolution # 82-17003 for the Police
Department and also the appropriation of funds therefor from the
Police Confiscations Trust Fund.
