A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 93-20714, WHICH ESTABLISHED SIGNATORIES
FOR A BANK ACCOUNT WITH THE MIAMI BEACH HOUSING AUTHORITY
AT BARNETT BANK OF SOUTH FLORIDA, NA, AND PROVIDING FOR
THE SUBSTITUTION OF PARTIES AUTHORIZED TO EXECUTE
VOUCHERS ON SAID ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 93-20714 , attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" , established a bank account with the Miami Beach Housing
Authority entitled "City of Miami Beach/Miami Beach Housing
Authority Benefit Fund Account" ; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution provided for persons within the City
Administration authorized to execute vouchers on said account, in
conjunction with authorized individuals from the Housing Authority;
and
WHEREAS, one of the individuals authorized to execute vouchers
on behalf of the City is no longer employed by the City of Miami
Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration wishes to delete one name as
presently appearing in Resolution No. 93-20714 as one of the
individuals authorized to execute vouchers from the aforementioned
benefit fund account on behalf of the City, and replace same with
the name of Harry Mavrogenes, Director of Development, Design and
Historic Preservation Services, as the successor to the individual
authorized to so execute official vouchers on behalf of the City
from said account.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
Resolution No. 93-20714 is herein amended, thereby deleting
the name of Stuart Bagel, as an individual authorized to
execute official vouchers from the City of Miami Beach/Miami
Beach Housing Authority Benefit Fund Account, on behalf of the
City, and replacing said name with that of Harry Mavrogenes,
Director of Development, Design land Historic Preservation
Services.

THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS DRAWN
ON FUNDS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH/MIAMI BEACH
HOUSING AUTHORITY BENEFIT FUND ACCOUNT
(RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 93-20714)
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION;
The Administration recommends that the City Commission approve
the authorization for the signing of vouchers drawn on funds
in the City of Miami Beach/Miami Beach Housing Authority
Benefit Fund Account.
BACKGROUND:
The attached resolution is periodically updated, as required,
duA in change authOrkz, signers. The current ..rr .of utior.
removes the signature authority of Stuart Rogel and adds
signature authority for Harry Mavrogenes.
ANALYSIS:
A review of the existing resolution revealed the need to
change signatures by deleting a former employee and replacing
the signature with that of Mr. Mavrogenes.
CONCLUSION:
This resolution should be approved to provide continuity for
signing of vouchers in this account.
