a) Executive Director' s Report 1
1. South Pointe Elementary School - Dade County
School Board' s projected construction schedule for
the school:
Construction to start 5/90
Completion 5/91
Occupancy 8/91
Chairman voiced concerns about remaining building 1-2
foundation. Commissioner Arkin advised it would
be used in the new construction. Agency Attorney
Feingold to write to the School Board and request
they take appropriate action to secure the
property.

5. Report of Agency Attorney - none
(NOTE: During the City Commission meeting, (R-10B)
City Attorney Laurence Feingold issued memo #195-90 and
gave oral report on status of Marina litigation by
advising that Judge John Gale had issued 3/29/90 h i s
Order of Voluntary Recusal. Mr. Feingold further
advised that the City had opted to go into the blind
filing system for random reassignment to another judge
and he did not yet have information as to who the judge
would be. Also he advised that the City had filed a
strong motion and was in the process of filing a second
strong motion, that the relief sought was recusal of
Judge Gale, and the setting aside of his rulings with
order for a new trial.)
