Public hearing held and concluded.
126-93 Resolution adopted of the Miami Beach
Redevelopment Agency regarding a certain
geographic area within the City of Miami Beach
called the City Center/Historic Convention
Village Redevelopment and Revitalization Area,
described generally as being bounded on the east
by the Atlantic Ocean, on the north by 24th
Street, on the west by West Avenue, and on the
south by 14th Lane, accepting a finding by the
Board of County Commissioners of Dade County,
Florida, and of the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach for said area to be a "blighted
area" , and accepting a finding of necessity as to
the rehabilitation, conservation or
redevelopment, or combination thereof, of such
area, accepting a delegation of certain powers
from the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach to the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency
pursuant to Chapter 163, Part III, Florida
Statutes, accepting ation of the City
Commission of the Cit of Miami Beach that the
Illamieac Redevelopment Agency ,II!EE act as the
community redevelopment a enc with full power to
exerc al e powers permitted by Part III of
Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, which may be
delegated by the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach to the Miami Beach Redevelopment
Agency, directing the initiation, preparation and
adoption of a redevelopment plan to the local
planning agency of the City of Miami Beach for
review and recommendations as to conformity with
the Comprehensive Plan; all for the said City
Center/Historic Convention Village Redevelopment
and Revitalization Area.

127-93 Resolution adopted of the Miami Beach
Redevelopment Agency calling a public hearing for
February 12, 1993, at 3:30 p.m. , to consider a
resolution regarding a certain geographic area
within the City of Miami Beach, called the City
Center/Historic Convention Village Redevelopment
and Revitalization Area, described generally as
being bounded on the east by the Atlantic Ocean,
on the north by 24th Street, on the west by West
Avenue, and on the south by 14th Lane as set
forth in Exhibit "A" , adopting a redevelopment
plan for said geographic area; accepting any
recommendations of the local planning agency of
the City of Miami Beach as to the redevelopment
plan regarding conformity with the Comprehensive
Plan; directing staff to seek approval of the
redevelopment plan by the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach and from the Board of County
Commissioners of Dade County; directing staff to
seek a delegation of certain powers from the City
Commission of the City of Miami Beach to the
Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency pursuant to
Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes, with
full power to exercise all the powers permitted
by Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes, which
may be delegated by the Board of County
Commissioners of Dade County to the City
Commission of the City of Miami Beach; directing
the implementation of the redevelopment plan, and
any amendments thereto, upon the appropriate
adoption thereof; all for the said City
Center/Historic Convention Village Redevelopment
and Revitalization Area.
