RE: Miami Beach Brick Warehouse, 100 Alton Rd. -
consideration of demolition deferred pending
review of architect's opinion as to: (1) historic
value and (2) accuracy of report submitted by
M.B. Marina that Warehouse is unsafe structure and
not repairable for normal costs.
b. Report of Robert_ful ich of Freilich, Leitner and 8-15
Carlisle, P.C. - Professor Freilich rendered oral
status report of progress made by his firm in
promulgating redevelopment zoning.
24-84 c. A Resolution ... concerning its bank accounts. 23
6. New Business
a. Repres n ative Hal Spaet, Chairman of a 4-7
subcommittee of the Community Affairs Committee
dealing with redevelopment, appeared and reviewed
. 1218, amending and refining Redevelopment
legislation to be effective July 1, 1984.
b. Agency requests to the City Commission to direct 15-16
the ,lanning Board, to make a recommendation with
regard to the South Pointe Zoning Kart before the
next Commission meeting.
22-84 c. A Resolution .. . authorizing and directing 21
,Freilich,_ Leitner & ,Carl.isle, P.C. to enter into a
subcontract agreement with a consultant team,
subject to the approval of the City Commission,
for the preparation of detailed plans for specific
South Pointe project areas as a condition
precedent to issuance of requests for proposals.
23-84 d. A Resolution .. . authorizing and directing the 21
Executive Director to formally request placement
of the matter of the reinstatement of the County
share of tax increment revenues from the South ,
Pointe Redevelopment Area on the next available
Dade County Finance Committee agenda for action.
e. Discussion of funding, possibly consisting of bank 18-20

loans, for demolition of buildings in South Beach
to be researched by Agency Attorney and Executive
Director.
