A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, RETROACTIVELY APPROVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO ACCEPT A
DONATION FROM ROBIN RICE AND WIL MARTINEZ, OF A BENQ
HT2050 DIGITAL PROJECTOR AND PROJECTOR SCREEN, IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $700.00, FOR THE CITY'S PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S YOUTH PROGRAMMING AND
CAMPS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department (the
"Department") prides itself on providing a fun and safe place for those who live and play in the
City; and
WHEREAS, the Department offers a wide variety of programs and classes for
individuals of all ages, including sports programming, camps, and events; and
WHEREAS, Miami Beach residents, Robin Rice and Wil Martinez, have donated BenQ
HT2050 Digital Projector and projector screen, in the total amount of$700.00 to be used in the
Department's youth programming and camps.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby approve and authorize the City of Miami Beach to retroactively accept a
donation from Robin Rice and Wil Martinez, of a BenQ HT2050 Digital Projector and projector
screen, in the total amount of $700.00, for the City's Parks and Recreation Department's youth
programming and camps.

RECOMMENDATION
The City Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Commission hereby approve and
authorize the City of Miami Beach to retroactively accept a donation from Robin Rice and Wil
Martinez, of a BenQ HT2050 Digital Projector and projector screen, in the total amount of
$700.00,for the City's Parks and Recreation Department's youth programming and camps.
