83-17518RESOLUTION NO. 83-17518 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CERTIFICATE OF THE CANVASSING COMMITTEE AS TO THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 1, 1983 GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS; DECLARING RESULTS THEREOF. WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida the Certificate of the City Manager, City Attorney and the City Clerk as the Canvassing Committee of said City Commission as to the results of the canvass of the returns of the General and Special Elections held in said City on,November 1, 1983 and WHEREAS, the said Canvassing Committee has duly canvassed said returns and certified the returns of said Elections; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it hereby adopts the said Certificate as to the results of said Elections and it is hereby ordered that the same certificate and this Resolution be recorded in the minutes of this meeting as a permanent record of the results of said Elections; AND IT IS FURTHER FOUND, DETERMINED AND RESOLVED that the following candidates for Mayor and City Commissioner, Groups I, II, III, IV, V, and VI received the highest number of votes casts, and are hereby declared ELECTED: FOR MAYOR MALCOLM H.
