Subject: Flu Vaccine Update for Miami Beach Youth
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update you on the status of the City of Miami
Beach's efforts to expand access to the flu vaccine to all Miami Beach youth residents, per
direction at the October 14, 2020 City Commission meeting. To date, the City's efforts have
provided the flu vaccine to 182 youth for the 2020-2021 flu season.
The City will be partnering with Borinquen Medical Centers to provide free flu vaccines to any
Miami Beach youth residents (under 18) on the following dates and times:
• November 18, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm
North Shore Park Youth Center
501 72° Street, Miami Beach, FL 33141
• November 21, 2020 from 10am to 4pm
Flamingo Park
943 11" Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Vaccines will be provided on a first come, first served basis until the remaining allocated funds
are depleted. Consent forms will be completed onsite by the parent/guardian.
