This ordinance has modified the way the City mitigates transportation and mobility impacts of new development. At the time of adoption, the City Commission requested that the administration update the City Commission via L TC regarding the collection of fees, and how the revenue is slated to be used. ln the 2019/2020 fiscal year, the City collected $1,408,262.77 in mobility fees. For comparison purposes, in the 2018/2019 fiscal year, the City collected a total $864,649.91 in concurrency fees, which would have been divided amongst the previous three concurrency management areas. Therefore there has been an increase of $543,612.86 over the previous fiscal year. The following project is being funded with Mobility Fees and previously collected Concurrency Fees: • Project# 28080: Transcore ITS, LLC: Design, build, operation and maintenance for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS} & Smart Parking Systems (SPS} for a total of $237,477.74.
