REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) NO. 65-02/03 EVALUATION COMMITTEE FOR
UNDERWRITING SERVICES
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to form an evaluation committee to choose the
firm to provide investment advisory services for the City. The investment advisor needs to
be highly experienced, a leader and innovator in the management of investments, and able
to provide comprehensive investment advisory services. The proposals were received on
September 12, 2003.
I am considering appointing the following people to the evaluation committee:
1. Jose Iglesias - Resident and property owner, President and Owner of Rio Energy
Petroleum Co.
2. Frank Recio - Property owner, retired partner from KPMG. Currently President of
Avisena Corporation.
3. Chris Engh - Property owner, Price Waterhouse partner.
4. Ramon Duenas - CMB Expenditure/Treasury Manager, Finance Department.
5. Laura Franco-Rubines - Assistant Internal Auditor.
