Hall of Fame Committee Motion
The purpose of this letter to the Mayor and Commission is to provide an update regarding
motions made during the January 14, 2021 Hall of Fame Committee meeting:
1. Motion to reopen the nomination process to obtain a more diverse and broader
spectrum of the community and invite a greater opportunity for people of the
community to nominate.
The above motion was passed unanimously.
2. Motion to seek additional means of disseminating information regarding the
nomination process and seeks a more aggressive and community based
advertising and outreach effort to include local organizations and standing City
Committees that represent different segments of our community.
The above motion was passed unanimously.
