RESOLUTION NO. 85-18315
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
FRDAP GRANT NO. 11-63-19 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF ISLAND VIEW PARK.
WHEREAS , the Florida Cabinet selected the Island View
Park Project as an appropriate recipient of state funds and
authorized a grant in the amount of $174,667 . 00 to the City of
Miami Beach for the above-mentioned project; and
WHEREAS, the State will identify $87,333. 50 which cost
was for removal for excess fill and material purchases, as a prior
obligation and expenditure; and
WHEREAS, such expenditure is identified as an in-kind
service and a eligible type of match; and
WHEREAS, attached is a revised legal description which
is being submitted as a part of the amended agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to FRDAP
Grant No. 11-63-19 for the construction of Island View Park which
incorporates the aforelisted items in said agreement.
