A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
MAYO CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR THE
RENOVATION OF THE MIAMI BEACH YOUTH CENTER
ROOF AND TENNIS COURT FACILITIES .
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and .Mayo Construction
Industries, Inc. have entered into an Agreement dated September
30, 1985 for the renovation of the Miami Beach Youth Center Roof
and Tennis Court Facilities.
WHEREAS, Mayo Construction Industries Inc. has proposed
a change to the Contract which has been approved by the architect
subject to certain conditions which change would remove a
polyethelyne membrane and concrete topping,
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends the proposed
change to the Agreement which will result in a credit to the City
of $28,838. 00, and the City Attorney has prepared a Supplemental
Agreement for execution by the parties,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute a Supplemental
Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and Mayo Construction
Industries, Inc. for the Renovation of the Miami Beach Youth
Center Roof and Tennis Court Facilities.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of December , 1985 .
