A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CREATING THE
SOUTH POINTE PARK AD HOC COMMITTEE AND
PROVIDING FOR THE DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS , the City Commission has determined that many
private citizens have creative talents and expertise to publicize
the great asset that is South Pointe Park; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes . to establish the
South Pointe Park Ad Hoc Committee with a membership of fourteen
members and each Commissioner appointing two members, and
WHEREAS , the duties of the Committee are to make
recommendations to the City Commission in the following areas:
Establishing a campaign to make known to the public
the facilities of South Pointe Park.
Planning of functions and promoting special events
to take placein the Park.
Seeking of national sponsors for special events to
take place in the Park
Creating ideas for expanded activities in the Park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY. COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA creates the South Pointe Park
Ad Hoc Committee and provides for its duties.
