A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE BASS MUSEUM AND THE ART MUSEUM ASSOCIATION OF
AMERICA (AMAA) FOR THE EXHIBITION, "TWO HUNDRED YEARS
OF AMERICAN ART: THE MUNSON-WILLIAMS-PROCTOR
INSTITUTE"
WHEREAS, the Bass Museum has negotiated a Contract with the Art Museum
Association of America (AMAA) to present the Exhibition, "Two Hundred Years of American
Art: The Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute" from September 19, 1987, through November
14, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Bass Museum has been in contact with the Association for the
past one and one-half years to obtain this Exhibit; and
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends such action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor be and the same is hereby
authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, the Contract between the Bass Museum and
the Art Museum Association of America.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of January , 1986.
