RESOLUTION NO. 86- 1834
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT WITH
SAFE HARBOR, INC. FOR OPERATION OF THE MIAMI
BEACH SAILPORT.
WHEREAS, The City Administration through the Purchasing
Agent, solicited a Request for Proposal (RFP 163-84/85) for
operation of a concession at the City of Miami Beach Sailport.
WHEREAS , Safe Harbor, Inc. submitted a proposal to
provide for the operation of a first class sail training and
activity center.
WHEREAS, Safe Harbor, Inc. and the City have negotiated
an agreement which is in the Commission agenda package, and which
is recommended by the Marine Authority and the City Manager and
has been approved as to form by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT . WITH SAFE HARBOR, INC. FOR
OPERATION OF THE MIAMI BEACH SAILPORT.
